Jenny, Matt, + Bunker’s Fort Williams Park Engagement Session | Maine Wedding Photographer

I am so excited to introduce another amazing 2018 LDP couple! And they’re Bates College sweethearts! Even though I never met these two while I was at Bates, I couldn’t be happier that this business connected us now! Jenny and Matt are both from Portland, ME but didn’t actually meet until freshmen year at Bates when they were in the same Chemistry class. They sat next to each other on the first day of class and the rest is history! These two are such a sweet couple and I had a blast getting to know them and their puppy during their engagement session at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine!

Paul and I drove up to Maine on a Wednesday right after school to meet up with these two at Fort Williams. We made an essential stop on the way at Holy Donut (the real reason Paul came along on the trip). We ended up having the most beautiful evening to take their engagement photos ending the night with a gorgeous pink sunset! Make sure you scroll down to the very bottom to see one of my favorite silhouette shots ever! Fort Williams is such a cool location for an engagement session. We started at the rocky beach taking pictures with the fort in the background and then walked up towards the lighthouse! We climbed down a path to see a beautiful wide view of the rocky Maine coast and the lighthouse. Jenny and Matt brought their cute, fluffy, and so so so adorable golden retriever puppy Bunker! I wanted to take him home from the second I met him!! If you want to see more pictures of this little guy, make sure you follow Bunker instagram at @golden_boy_bunker!

I’m pretty much obsessed with all of the photos from this engagement session and I’m so excited to share my favorites!! Jenny and Matt were so cute and so in love and when you add in their fluffy puppy, it really doesn’t get any more picturesque than that! I already can’t wait until next August to capture their wedding in Maine!

Big thanks to Jenny’s mom, Donna, and Paul Rutherford Photography for all their help getting Bunker’s attention and for holding him while we took portraits of just Jenny and Matt. I couldn’t have done it without you guys!! 🙂

And a little behind the scenes of Paul Rutherford Photography doing his thing being the official treat giver! (aka Bunker’s favorite person)
