It’s really hard to believe that fall is here! I’m still not over how quickly summer went by, but I really do love fall. The crisp air, delicious pumpkin beers with a cinnamon sugar rim, and I love any excuse to wear a scarf! And most importantly, fall means ALL the family sessions. The next month and a half are absolutely crazy, jam-packed with families, couples, dogs, and a few weddings left to officially close out my 2017 photography season. I am so excited for everything that’s coming up and I’m even more excited to kick off a string of family portrait sessions with these two and their adorable Frenchie!
With this being the second year of my business, I’m feeling so lucky to have some of the families I photographed from last year coming back for updated portraits this year! I have been blessed with the best clients and Cheri, Bryan, and Kiwi are a few of them! Their family session last year was in the Seaport (click here to see those images), so this year we decided to head over to Beacon Hill to capture their family portraits with the iconic brick and cobblestone beauty as their backdrop. I am so in love with these pictures and seriously, how adorable is Kiwi! Fun Fact: We didn’t use ANY treats during this session. NOT. A. SINGLE. ONE. Isn’t that crazy?! Treats are always my go-to to help get all dogs to look at the camera, but Kiwi was such a natural model in front of the camera, she didn’t need any extra motivation! She’s the only dog I’ve ever photographed and haven’t used any treats to help, so don’t think this is normal!
I’m so excited to share some of my favorites from Cheri, Bryan, and Kiwi’s family portrait session in the cute alleys and streets of Beacon Hill with of course, a stop at Acorn Street! Also, be sure to follow Kiwi on instagram at @kiwilicious_12!!
Photos came out great and we had a blast doing it! You are the best, Lauren – thank you!!
