Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing engagement sessions on back-to-back nights in Beacon Hill. Beacon Hill never loses its charm and it is definitely turning into one of my favorite Boston locations any time of year. Every time I go there, I find a new alley, a new gorgeous window box, or an incredible door step that I am in love with. Kat and Tom met at WPI and when we first chatted about their engagement session this past winter, they initially wanted to do their engagement session on campus, but Kat and Tom just moved to Beacon Hill this past year, so they decided to do their engagement session there! And I’m glad they did because I’m a little bit obsessed with how these photos came out! Plus, Inka was such a rockstar, so she absolutely needed a bunch of solo shots!
Kat and Tom are mutual friends with one of my 2018 couples (Shannon and Matt) and 2019 couples (Rachel and Dan). I’ve only heard great things about them, so I was really excited to finally meet them myself! Just as I heard, they are so nice and so sweet! Kat’s smile was so infectious that it had me smiling the whole time too! Plus, their pup, Inka, was the absolute cutest and posed like a queen! I loved her sassy leg in nearly every photo.
We met on an absolutely gorgeous night and couldn’t have asked for better weather. We saw at least 5 other engagement sessions happening in Beacon Hill, but I’m pretty sure this was the best one! 🙂 I had so much fun with these three and am so excited to show off my favorites (which were really hard to choose) from their Beacon Hill engagement session!
Big thank you to Kat’s friend from law school, Zoe, for helping us during the session! Couldn’t have captured all these awesome shots of Inka without her help! Also, make sure you follow Inka and all of her adventures on instagram at @inkagsd!!
