It’s that time of year again – Fall mini sessions with my favorite dog walking company, Boston For The Dogs! Fall photoshoots are my absolute favorite. The weather is cool, the leaves are gorgeous, and the lighting is almost always PERFECT! Last year, I reached out to a dog walking company on a whim during school one day to see if they would ever want to partner together. After I hit “send”, I was so nervous and then I completely forgot about it! Hannalore, the owner of BFTD responded within minutes and we had a date scheduled to meet up before the end of the week! From there, magic was born! I love every opportunity I get to collaborate with BFTD and we’ve now scheduled two rounds of mini sessions offered exclusively to her clients in the spring and fall.

We chose the Arnold Arboretum as our location for the fall mini sessions for the obvious reasons of all the GORGEOUS foliage! And also because, this is one of the main areas where Hannalore, Corey, and her entire BFTD team walk their dogs. This area is really familiar to all the dogs coming to the sessions and because the Aboretum is so big, we can always find a spot that is off the beaten path, away from all the foot traffic that is common on weekends! We found the most beautiful spot to take pictures and staked our claim on the area because we passed a few other photographers on our way who were also doing mini sessions, so we wanted to make sure that we had that spot for the day! There was the cutest little wooden bridge and then a beautiful path covered in fallen leaves and beautiful oranges and reds overhead. I LOVED this spot and am so excited about the images we took of all the BFTD clients! It was so much fun capturing portraits of so many awesome dogs and their families – we even had a baby announcement! And I’m pretty sure we set a record for most dogs sitting pretty in one photo with 6 pitbulls in one image! I’m so excited about the images we captured from the day – scroll to see my favorites!
