Happy Friday! And happy first day of December! I still can’t believe it’s December – seriously, where did this year go? Even though my shooting season is slowing down (just two weddings left!), I still feel like I have a million things going on! But this is the BEST time of year! Our Christmas tree is lit and decorated, we have a fire almost nightly in the living room, and sooo much hot chocolate (Land O’ Lakes raspberry flavored is my favorite)! I also love this time of year because I have the opportunity to catch up on all of my blogging and I am reminded of all the amazing families, dogs, and couples I’ve photographed. I’m so excited to share this sunrise session from the last bit of fall!

Anna and Pat are two of the sweetest, nicest people and you can just tell by the way they interacted with each other that they’re so meant to be! They were so cute together and especially when you add in their adorable puppy, Copley, it’s cuteness overload! Copley is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and he was a bundle of energy at 7am! Anna and Pat’s original engagement session date had to be rescheduled because of rain, so we decided to meet up on a Saturday at sunrise, which actually worked out so perfectly. Not any couple would be down for this, but I’m so glad Anna and Pat were because we ended up having Jamaica Pond and the Arnold Arboretum all to ourselves, and of course, less distractions for Copley! We had gorgeous light at both locations and we were done with the whole day ahead of us at 9am! Also, Anna wore her grandmother’s dress when were at the Arnold Arboretum! That’s right – her GRANDMOTHER’S dress! How cool is that?! And it was such a beautiful, timeless dress!! I still can’t get over it!
