The first LDP wedding of 2018 was INCREDIBLE from start to finish. I think I say this all the time, but I am obsessed with all of my couples this year, and especially this one! Kristen and Mark are were an absolute dream to work with. Ever since I met these two at their engagement session, I could just tell how perfect they were for each other and I knew right then just how awesome it was going to be to capture their wedding day at the Barn at Gibbet Hill! 

Kristen and Mark celebrated their love the last weekend of April and just as the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers”, there was a LOT of rain on their wedding day! Even though it was pouring, the rain never stopped these two from smiling all day and they had the most beautiful celebration inside the beautiful barn at Gibbet Hill. We were even able to sneak outside for 5 minutes at the very end of cocktail hour, right before the sun went down. We captured some beautiful portraits of Kristen and Mark and we had to use the umbrella for a few images just so that they’d always remember how rainy it really was! 

Kristen and Mark’s entire wedding day was perfect! From Kristen’s gorgeous blue shoes, to the adorable first look with the flower girls peeking through the doors, to a surprise dance for Kristen’s parents’ 37th anniversary, to a guest appearance of Kevin Garnett (see photos), to DJ Dan Sky singing their first dance song live – the whole day was incredible! Kristen and Mark, thank you so much for letting me celebrate with you and also document your love! By the end of your wedding night, Paul and I felt like we were part of the family and I can’t thank you enough for being so kind and so amazing to work with! You two are the best! I had such a wonderful time and am so excited for you to start your new journey as Mr. and Mrs. Niedbala!
