Ever since Stella’s 3rd birthday styled shoot in the Charlestown Navy Yard last year, I have been waiting to see what Christina from Tails ‘N Sails was going to come up with for Luna’s 1st birthday. Luna was just a puppy when Stella turned 3, so now it was her turn to be in the spotlight! And let me tell you, Christina did not disappoint! This tropical themed birthday shoot was SO STINKIN’ CUTE! Christina is a genius when it comes to styling shoots for her pups. I’m constantly amazed with what she comes up with! From the tepee, to the circular tropical rug, to the accent pillows, to the cake plates, to the floral garland from Sunny Florists – she totally outdid herself! 

Little Luna, who’s not so little anymore, looked so adorable in Tails ‘N Sails scarf that matched the scene to a T! She was such a perfect little model and then once it was time for her to eat her Lally Pups cake, she was in heaven! We even let Stella in on the fun too 🙂

Also, let’s also talk for a second about how cute Christina looked! She was modeling some beautiful new pieces from Junebug Charlestown. I mean how cute are those earrings and that matching pink purse? If you haven’t been to Junebug yet, you definitely need to go! Their store is so cute and they offer beautiful floral arrangements as well. It’s a must visit if you’re ever in Charlestown.

The Charlestown Navy Yard is one of my favorite places to shoot and a go-to spot for Christina and me! I already can’t wait for Luna to turn 2 so we can do this all over again! If you’re thinking about throwing your dog a cute styled birthday shoot, you definitely should! Because let’s be real, all dogs deserve a cake smash on their birthday!
