I am beyond excited to share this beautiful Mother’s Day wedding at the Saphire Estate! Everything about this day was picture perfect – from Rachel’s sparkly Keds (this girl’s got style), to her Aunt’s gorgeous floral arrangements, to the bridesmaids’ stunning dresses, to Kira’s guest appearance, to the toasts that had me bawling behind the camera, all the way to the incredible sunset! I had so much fun documenting this day from beginning to end and I am so grateful to work with the best couples there are! Rachel and David, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding. I had the best time being surrounded by all your friends and family, capturing your love for each other.

I first met Rachel, David, and Kira just a little over a year and a half ago during my fall mini sessions. Rachel convinced David to get his picture taken with their fluffy Samoyed in the Public Garden and I’m so so glad she was able to convince him, because these two have a special place in my heart. As soon as I met Rachel and David, I felt like I’d known them for years! They are both just so sweet and so kind, and not to mention, they have the world’s fluffiest, most adorable Samoyed who I am in love with! When Rachel and David reached out about photographing their wedding, my heart was so happy to be able to capture their love (and their pup) again! One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was Kira’s guest appearance during portraits, so naturally, I included a sequence of Kira that you don’t want to miss in this blog post! You’ll see what I mean – She’s the FLUFFIEST!

Rachel and David were married on the most beautiful May day! I always plan to take my couples out right at sunset to capture a few beautiful portraits, and that night’s sunset did not disappoint! There’s a beautiful lake right near the Saphire Estate and we were able to have the perfect view of the sunset there. I always love a good dance party, and this crew knew how to have a good time on the dance floor! It didn’t even matter that it was a Sunday! Plus, when your friends and family surprise you with giant head replicas and put you on their shoulders to dance, you just know it’s going to be a great night! Plus, don’t even get me started on the delicious cupcakes – Paul and I may or may not have taken a cannoli cupcake and a strawberry champagne one for the road 🙂 Scroll to see all of my favorites from this beautiful Mother’s Day wedding at the Saphire Estate!
