I was there when these two got engaged on what felt like the coldest day of last year and I was there when these two became Mr. and Mrs. Kelly on what has felt like one of the hottest days of 2018! But the heat couldn’t stop these two from having the BEST. DAY. EVER. Erin and Tyler’s love for each other shines so bright and I don’t think either of them ever stopped smiling ear to ear one single time all day! This Black Rock Country Club wedding was such a joy to be a part of!
Erin got ready at Tyler’s mom’s house and I started by photographing all of her beautiful details! I already knew how gorgeous Erin’s ring was and couldn’t wait to take more pictures of all three rings together. Then when you add in the amazing invitation suite by Goosefish Press, her stunning dress with beaded sleeves, her grandmother’s pearl ring that every girl in her family wears for good luck on their wedding day, and Grace Kim’s florals that arrived later in the day – I could’ve taken detail photos all day! Plus, Erin’s little niece who is the absolute cutest!
Erin and Tyler did their first look at a family friend’s house near the ocean and it was the most beautiful location with a stunning view! From the second Tyler turned around and saw Erin during the first look, you could just tell how perfect these two are for each other. Right as we were about to leave, we caught some beautiful overcast light and captured some of my favorite wedding party photos ever! Then we all took a trolley over to Tyler’s childhood church, St. Anthony’s Parish. Erin and Tyler had a beautiful ceremony performed by Tyler’s priest, Father Mullveyhill.
Then we all went over to the reception at Black Rock Country Club and the trolley that took the entire wedding party including the bride and groom broke down! Yes, broke down!! But they made it!! And that’s why you always plan for a little extra time in your wedding day timeline 🙂 Black Rock Country club was such a gorgeous venue and they took us down to the secret photo spot on the 14th hole, which was absolutely beautiful! These two were such troopers in the heat, still willing to do all the posing where they had to be touching foreheads, kissing, standing really close together, etc. (I have the bestttttt couples)! The reception kicked off with Erin and Tyler’s choreographed first dance and they killed it! Everything about this day was perfect from the amazing toasts, to the groom’s cake Tyler’s mom surprised him with from his favorite bakery, to the gorgeous sunset to end the night.
Congratulations, Erin + Tyler! Thank you so much for asking Paul and me document your love – you two are perfect! Xoxo
