This December wedding was the most beautiful celebration! I cried more on this wedding day than any other wedding I’ve ever photographed! This day was filled with so many happy tears because it was such a beautiful celebration of an amazing couple who gave birth to the most precious little girl just three months before the wedding. Shannon and Matt’s beautiful baby girl, Avery, stole the show the entire day! 

I’ve gotten to know Shannon and Matt over the past year of wedding planning and this couple was truly such a joy to work with. I knew I was going to love them when they decided to bring their dog, Brody, AND their cat, Walter, to their engagement session. And I knew Matt was a keeper when he carried Walter all around Rock Meadow to make sure he got to be in some pictures too! I can’t say enough amazing things about this couple and I am so happy to see them be the most amazing parents to their baby girl, Avery! 

This wedding day was definitely one for the record books! Shannon and Matt had the largest wedding party that I’ve ever photographed to date and the whole crew was a blast to work with! We only had the last 20 minutes of sunlight left to do all of the wedding party photos and they all made it a breeze! There were 6 epic toasts given during the reception and each one had everyone crying, laughing, and then crying again. I don’t think there was a single dry eye in the entire room. And talk about a bride and groom who know the way to my heart – a hot chocolate bar! You know I had a big cup of hot chocolate to end the night! 

Shannon and Matt, it was such a joy to be a part of your wedding day! Thank you for trusting me with the honor of capturing your love for each other, your families, and now, your beautiful baby girl Avery. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Gonsalves! Love you guys!
