I am so excited to share this very special DC engagement session! It’s not that often that I have the opportunity to photograph friends from my childhood. Although my business is based in New England and that’s where the majority of my weddings are, every once in a while I get the chance to head home and reconnect with someone from my youth. And in this case, I got to catch up with one of my dearest friends who has found the person she’s going to spend the rest of her life with, and he’s an absolute keeper! When Kelsey reached out to me to be her wedding photographer, my heart nearly exploded! Kelsey and I were best friends, partners in crime, and a dynamic duo on the basketball court in high school. She is one of the sweetest people I know and after meeting Colin for the first time at their engagement session, I can see what an incredibly perfect match they are for each other. Their happiness absolutely shines through in every photo and it is such a joy that I get to be the one to capture it! 

I had such a blast hanging out with these two, exploring around DC, and capturing their beautiful love. We had the most beautiful weather and the night ended with the most gorgeous, pink sunset!
