While I was back home in Chambersburg, PA last week, I photographed a very special maternity session for one of my sweet 2017 couples! I just happened to be home at the perfect time because Sara and Dex are expecting their first beautiful baby boy any day now! When I posted about having availability for a shoot and Sara reached out, I was thrilled! It means so much to be able to document so many meaningful moments in my couples’ lives! I couldn’t be more happy for these two as they’re starting to build a beautiful family. Plus, the timing of this blog post couldn’t have worked out more perfectly because yesterday was Sara and Dex’s 2 year wedding anniversary! 

For the past few months, I’ve been day dreaming of doing a shoot in a field of tall grass. So when I told Sara my idea, she said she was envisioning the exact same thing for her shoot! During the few days before her shoot, my mom and I were running around doing some errands when we came across the most perfect field on the side of the road. It was exactly the kind of field Sara and I were hoping for to make all of our tall grass dreams come true! Although, I know Sara would’ve looked absolutely radiant no matter where we were. 

I love following along with all of my couples’ journeys after their wedding day. It’s one of the reasons that makes this job so special to me. Watching my couples grow into beautiful families is truly such a joy! I was so honored back when Sara and Dex asked me to be their wedding photographer and to be able to photograph their maternity session too means so much! I know these two are going to make the best first-time parents! I already can’t wait to meet baby Nate and schedule a family session!
