I am just SO excited about this engagement session!! For so many different reasons! The first is that Marissa was the first friend I made when I came to Boston! She and I worked together at my first job out of college and Marissa was out of her way so nice to me! I loved working with Marissa and am so grateful to her for not only helping me survive my first job (which had its really tough days), but she also helped me apply for my second job while also encouraging me to continue working towards photography! Then a year later, coincidentally, Marissa and Kyle moved into a place directly behind where I live so now, we’re neighbors! And they have a pool, which they invite me over to!

When Marissa and Kyle got engaged, I was so honored that they asked me to be their wedding photographer. I’ve known Marissa since the day I could finally say out loud that being a wedding photographer was my dream and now she and Kyle are helping make it a reality by hiring me to document their love. I’m not gonna lie, I definitely started crying when she said she wanted me to be her wedding photographer! Honestly, Marissa is a one-of-a-kind friend and I’m so thankful that moving to Boston allowed me to meet her and Kyle!

When planning their engagement session, Marissa told me that it would be her dream for there to be snow. We both knew that with our schedules, that would be hard to coordinate so instead we set a date for January and hoped for the best! Well halfway through the engagement session, Marissa got her wish! We had been walking around the North End taking photos before hopping into a coffee shop for a quick break of coffee and hot chocolate before realizing that it was snowing! We ran back outside and it was so worth it! We captured such adorable photos of these two in the snow and I am beyond excited to share all of my favorites from their engagement session! Marissa and Kyle, I love you guys and can’t wait for October!!
