This styled shoot was SO MUCH FUN! We had four gorgeous models, a boutique clothing store, a makeup artist, and hair stylists! I feel so honored to have been able to capture these images for my new friend, Greg, owner of The Elsewhere Salon! Greg just opened his brand new salon in Somerville and wanted to put together a shoot with a few local vendors to create marketing images to promote their new store!

For this shoot, we started taking pictures right in The Elsewhere Salon’s neighborhood. We found some amazing storefronts and streets to capture portraits of these four beautiful ladies! Then we decided to head over to the most iconic spot in Boston, Acorn Street. I have to say that Acorn Street and the alleys of Beacon Hill are some of my favorite places to shoot, especially in the summer when the window boxes are overflowing! I love the first shot in this blog post of the girls walking linked arm-in-arm! Even though these ladies didn’t know each other beforehand, you’d never know it from these images!

We ended our shoot on the rooftop at Revere Hotel, which is such a cool spot! I’d never been there before, but I definitely want to go back to shoot and also for a drink on the roof! The views were so beautiful no matter which direction you looked and the furniture was awesome! This was the perfect place to end our shoot just as the sun was going down! I am so grateful to Greg for putting together such an amazing shoot and I already can’t wait for the next one! Below is a list of the vendors involved in making this magic happen!
