Katie and Sarah had the most beautiful wedding at the Boston College Club in Post Office Square. The weather ended up being perfect – no rain! And we were able to claim the best first look spot even though there were tons of other wedding parties trying to take their formals at the same time! The Boston College Club was an awesome venue with a perfect view of Boston! Plus, there was a gorgeous pink sunset during Katie and Sarah’s first dance, which made for a beautiful backdrop! Katie and Sarah have known each other for 12 years and met while playing on the basketball team at Bates College. It was great to see so many of Katie and Sarah’s teammates and friends from Bates at their wedding! And, two of the guests, Val and Ben, are a future LDP couple who is getting married later this year on New Year’s Eve! (the next Bates basketball wedding!)

Katie and Sarah – Thank you so much for allowing me to document the love between you two on your beautiful wedding day! I had so much fun meeting your wonderful friends and families! You two are such an awesome couple and it was a blast celebrating your love! Even though we were never students at Bates at the same time, I’m so happy that the annual Bates alumni basketball game allowed us to become friends over the past years and I honestly feel like it’s a dream come true that I get the honor of photographing my friends on their wedding day!! I’ll be seeing you on the basketball court in November and I’m thinking that you should both probably play in your custom Nike sneakers! 🙂 Love you guys!
