Oh my goodness! This past weekend was SO COLD! The windchill made the temperature feel like -2 degrees outside! But that didn’t stop this wonderful couple from eloping in the Boston Seaport!

Stephanie and Ryan had a wonderful intimate ceremony inside a private room at the Boston Seaport Hotel. The plan was to initially have their ceremony outside under the Boston Harbor Hotel archway, but as Saturday approached with the forecast looking the way it was, Stephanie and Ryan made some last minute calls and found an available room at the Boston Seaport Hotel. The Seaport Hotel was so accommodating and had the perfect space for their elopement, especially because it kept us warm before heading outside for portraits! 🙂

I can’t say enough good things about this couple! They were super cute together – I never even had to tell them how to pose! (they could barely hear me over the wind anyways). They had such an awesome attitude braving the extremely cold temperatures out on top of an overpass, which was basically a wind tunnel. They never complained and were so much fun to be around! I feel so honored to have been able to capture their day and am in love with the portraits we captured in literally 10 minutes of shooting! We were outside for 3 minutes, inside for 3 minutes, then back outside for a few more portraits, then running back inside to escape what felt like the beginning stages of frostbite in our fingers! But it was totally worth it and you’d never even know from the pictures just how cold we all were! Plus, the skyline was such a gorgeous background for their portraits that we couldn’t let a little negative degree weather stop us! So excited to share some of my favorite images from Stephanie and Ryan’s Boston elopement! Congratulations, you two!
