Let me just start off by saying that I am just SO excited for 2018! And these two are one of the reasons why! From the minute Kristen and I talked on the phone a few months ago, we clicked right away! She was so sweet and the way she described her relationship with Mark made me so excited to work with them! And after finally having the opportunity to meet them for their engagement session, these two made me feel like we’ve been friends forever! I had such a fun night hanging out with them and I already can’t wait to hang out with them again at their wedding next year! Kristen and Mark are getting married on April 27th, 2018, at one of my favorite venues – The Barn at Gibbet Hill! I’ve only ever been a second shooter there, so I’m really excited to get back there to photograph the love these two have for one another!

This month is filled with lots of engagement sessions, which is some of my favorite time with my couples. We walk around, get to know each other, and take cute pictures for an hour. I always have so much fun on engagement sessions (plus you can always use more cute pictures of you and your special someone), which is why I include them in all of my wedding collections. I really cherish this time hanging out together and I think it’s really valuable for both my clients and myself! Plus, it’s an awesome excuse to dress up and make it a date night, which is what these two did! I met up with Kristen and Mark in the picturesque streets of Beacon Hill. We strolled around to some of my favorite spots and some new ones! Every time I go to Beacon Hill, I always try to find some new spots to create beautiful portraits. Kristen and Mark were so fun and willing to stop traffic to capture some epic shots! The picture of them in the middle of the road is going down as one of my favorites ever! I absolutely can’t wait for next April and I’m feeling so lucky that I get to work with such amazing couples!
