These two are absolute style goals! Their outfits were so on point to match both the beautiful Fall foliage and the timeless Boston skyline. Elisabeth and Ben are so cute together and these are definitely some of my new favorite photos. I already can’t wait to shoot at the Boston Seaport again!

I’ve been wanting to put together a style guide to help alleviate some of the stress I know my clients experience when trying to choose their photoshoot outfits. I posted on instagram for a real couple model call and I was so excited when Elisabeth reached out! She is the absolute sweetest person ever and was totally open to the vision I had for her outfits. I have to say that she definitely executed!

Another reason I offered this free session is to practice slowing down my photoshoots! A lot of times during engagement sessions, I’m moving so quickly that I forget to take a second to slow down and think about certain goals I have for images I want to create. When I’m moving so quickly, I tend to forget to take those moments to intentionally create an image vs. capturing the candid moments. I LOVE candid moments but I want to try and find more of a balance between intentional images and the adorable in-between moments! At every future session, I want to start taking more up close detail photos, individual images of each person (everyone can use a cut new headshot), wider images that focus more intentionally on the background. Those are just a few examples of what I was hoping to capture during this session when the pressure was off and I could just create magic with this couple!
