Everything about this Boston Public Garden elopement was intimate and so heart-warming. From the way Marcos looks at Jackie, to their handmade bouquet and boutonniere, to sneaking onto a golf course where we received the best treatment and even a golf cart to ride around on! (You’re the best Granite Links!) Jackie and Marcos are both from California and had their whole wedding planned with invitations already sent out and RSVP’s received, but decided that was not what they truly wanted. Instead, they wanted to head back to Boston to become Mr. and Mrs., which is the same place where Marcos asked Jackie to be his girlfriend! I had the most lovely Saturday afternoon celebrating Jackie and Marcos in the most perfect way that represented their love for each other!
Jackie first reached out about photographing their elopement just a few weeks before they were planning on coming to Boston and I’m so excited that they found me because we had an afternoon that I will never forget! Jackie and Marcos were married at Hamel-Lydon Chapel in Quincy and then per their amazing officiant Roberta’s suggestion, we decided to go nearby to the Granite Links golf course. It was such a busy Saturday there, so I dropped off Jackie and Marcos while I tried to park and when I couldn’t find anything, I decided to pull the photographer card with the valet guy. He was so nice offering to let me leave my car for 15 minutes while we took some photos of the bride and groom! As soon as I got out of my car, I turned around and there were Jackie and Marcos driving a golf cart!! Five thumbs up for the best treatment at Granite Links! I hung on to the back of the golf cart while we rode all around finding the prettiest spots for photos!
After Granite Links, we decided to head to the Public Garden, which was a spot that Jackie and Marcos loved during their first visit to Boston. The Public Garden is definitely one of my favorite photo spots too and I always love finding new ways to capture the scenery. These two were so much fun to photograph and I have so many new favorites from a location I’ve been to 100 times!
Jackie and Marcos, I had so much fun with you two and am so grateful to have been there to document your love! You are two of the most easy going, fun-loving couples I’ve ever met and your love for each other is so radiant! Sending you so much love all the way from the East Coast!
