The 21st night of September will definitely be a night I never forget!! I’ve always loved that song by Earth, Wind, and Fire and now it will forever remind me of one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Michelle and Tony are the definition of my ideal client. From the second I chatted with Michelle on the phone to their amazing engagement session, I knew we were the perfect fit for each other. Michelle and Tony are so down-to-earth, fun-loving, and just so happy and excited to be marrying their best friend that nothing could ruin their day – not even the power going out at the end of the night!

Michelle and Tony have been friends for 10 years, ever since they first met on Semester at Sea. They have lived thousands of miles away from each other, but they stayed in touch over the years and their strong friendship turned into a beautiful love story!

Michelle and Tony were married at a beautiful church in West Harwich called Holy Trinity and it was followed by a reception celebration at The Wequassett Resort and Club! This was my first time to The Wequassettt and it was absolutely stunning! I could’ve taken portraits of Michelle and Tony there for hours. Between the beautiful flowers and green space, to the ocean and docks, it was a photographer’s dream location!

From beginning to end, this day was such a joy to be a part of! Both Michelle and Tony’s families and friends were all so welcoming the entire day and made me feel like I was a part of their crew too! The speeches were all amazing and you’ll definitely want to scroll to see the MOH, Jill, who blew up the most beautiful picture of Michelle I’ve ever seen to show everyone 🙂

Michelle and Tony threw an epic dance party with the band Search Party Boston and the night ended with the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen at a wedding. The power went out across the entire resort during the last bit of the reception and then Search Party Boston began singing acapella “Can’t Help Falling In Love” while all the guests surrounded Michelle and Tony. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house and you know I was definitely crying behind the camera! That will go down as one of my all-time favorite memories from a wedding!

Michelle, you made the most stunning bride and Tony, you made a pretty dapper groom yourself! I am so excited for you two to start your journey as Mr. and Mrs. Jones!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting me be a part of your day! Xoxo!
