This spring has been flying by!! Seriously, I feel like I blinked and May is now pretty much already gone! I’ve had so many wonderful dog sessions this month and I’m so excited to finally share images from this dog session at Stage Fort Park! Brady and Sammy are two of the cutest little black Yorkipoo brothers! They are 8 and 9 years old and spunky as ever! Right after meeting them, I could tell instantly who was who! While Sammy was a little bit shorter with the curliest of curls and very (VERY) ball-motivated, Brady was taller and extremely treat-motivated! So we used both of those tactics to our advantage to capture portraits of Sammy and Brady both together and alone all over Stage Fort Park.
I was so glad that when Miranda and Jason contacted me for their dog/family session that they suggested Stage Fort Park. Stage Fort Park has a very special meaning for Miranda and Jason because that’s where they got engaged nearly 7 years ago!! In fact, we took pictures on the same bench where Jason proposed! 🙂 I love being able to explore new locations with my clients, especially when it’s a spot that is so meaningful to them! Plus, the park did not disappoint – it was beautiful with tons of different background options! There were beautiful rocks overlooking the water, a sandy beach so we could take some action shots of Sammy, and a little mini rock mountain we hiked for another gorgeous view of the water. And we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves! I had such a blast spending the evening with this sweet family. The session honestly flew by because it felt more like we were all hanging out rather than having a photoshoot! Miranda and Jason are so sweet and it was such an honor being able to capture family portraits for them! And if you know this cute couple, keep your eyes peeled around Christmas time for their Christmas card because it may or may not have a Lauren Dobish Photography fun family photo on their card! 🙂
