I’m so excited to introduce you to Oliver, one of the spunkiest French Bulldogs I’ve ever met!! I could tell from the second Oliver got out of the car that he was a character! He was so spunky literally looked like a cartoon, especially in the shot when he’s looking over the fence! I always bring a few different toys with me to every shoot and I brought a tennis ball with me to Oliver’s session without even knowing how ball-motivated he is! He seriously couldn’t take his eyes off of the tennis ball for a second. Needless to say, I let him keep it after the session 🙂

Oliver is such a cutie and was so much fun to photograph! Having never met (or even heard of for that matter) a Frenchie before starting this business a little over a year ago, I’m quickly becoming a big fan of them! Frenchies have been the most popular breed of dog I’ve photographed over the past year, and I’m not complaining! They have such fun personalities and I’ve been thinking about changing my business to “Lauren Dobish Photography – Weddings and Frenchies”!

It was such a pleasure meeting Oliver and Megan! Megan was so sweet and had the cutest little bow tie for him to wear during his session! I’m so excited to share my favorite images from Oliver’s dog portrait session at Cutler Park Reservation!

Special thanks to Paul Rutherford Photography for being my assistant on this shoot! I never bring an assistant on shoots with me, but whenever working with dogs, I always strongly recommend bringing an extra pair of hands to help make the portrait session a little less stressful! Paul ran with Oliver so that I could practice some actions shots and he was always so patient helping get Oliver in position for the perfect shots! Thanks Paul!!
