These two are getting married in a day less than 2 months!! I am so excited to have finally met Kerry and Steve, one of my last 2017 couples!! I initially spoke with Kerry on the phone in the beginning of the year, which feels like forever ago! So needless to say, I was very pumped to finally meet this adorable couple. And when they decided last minute to bring their dog, Hooch, it made my day! And you’ll see why as soon as you see some of the photos that Hooch is in! He’s such a big lovable guy and I just wanted to hug him the whole session!

Kerry and Steve decided to take their engagement photos at a park right near where they live called Mystic River Reservation in Medford. I’ve never done a session there, but as I was driving there I quickly realized that this was a spot on my bucket list to do a photo shoot! Sometimes when I’m driving using Waze and I see a new spot that I think would be great for photos, I take a screenshot of where I am so that I’ll remember it later – this was one of those places!! I recognized it immediately as I was pulling into the parking lot. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! There were so many pretty paths and greenery and then my favorite spot, the dock by the water. As soon as we got to the dock, we noticed some storm clouds were starting to roll in, which none of us knew were coming. Luckily, we were able to capture some of my favorite shots from the session before it started to rain, lightning, and thunder! Kerry and Steve were such troopers as they did their outfit change while we were trying to wait out the rain and storm. We grabbed a few more in their second outfit and then decided to head back to the cars even though we could see a gorgeous sunset facing the opposite direction of the storm!

These three totally killed it during their engagement session and I can’t wait to see them again for their December wedding! Here are some of my favorites!
