Now that my engagement session season is officially over, I have SO MANY NEW FAVORITE IMAGES! Seriously, with each couple, there are at least 5-10 shots I’m obsessed with and super excited about! And with this engagement session, I think I’m pumped about literally every single one that we captured! Gina and Kellen were not only so much fun to work with, but they were also super easy to photograph! Their love for each other is so cute and it completely shines through in every photograph!

Gina and Kellen responded to an instagram story post I did a few weeks ago looking for a couple to help with a special LDP project. During the offseason, I’m going to be working on putting together an engagement session style guide as a resource to help all of my future couples plan for their engagement session. This will include tips on what to wear, how to prep for their session, etc, and it will be filled with beautiful images of previous couples! Gina and Kellen were so easy going and let me be a part of picking their entire wardrobe, even to the point of how I was hoping Gina’s hair would look! Also, shout out to Gina for doing her own hair and makeup! She looked flawless and I’m so jealous of her gorgeous hair! (I might have to start hiring her to do my hair and makeup before every wedding)

I had such a blast at this shoot because I was able to focus on capturing certain images I knew I wanted for my guide. These two were so accommodating and I’m so grateful for them! During the busy season, it’s all about staying afloat and keeping up with all the work you have to get done in order to maintain your business, so it was really refreshing to do something that I know is going to help propel my business forward even amidst all of the crazy that has been this fall!
