This foggy engagement session is giving me all the ????! My whole drive up from Boston to Portsmouth, I had gorgeous weather. I left a little early from school to miss all the traffic and then the second I got off the exit to go to Portsmouth, I could barely see more than 10 feet in front of me! I was a little nervous about how this would look in the images, but when I arrived and saw Emily and Matt, they had the best attitude about the fog and were so easy going! It totally didn’t phase them at all, which I absolutely love about them! And the images came out BEAUTIFUL!
Emily and I played basketball together at Bates and I haven’t seen her since she graduated, so whenever she reached out about photographing her wedding, I was SO EXCITED! I absolutely love the way this business has reconnected me with old friends and teammates and I couldn’t be more excited that I get to be a part of her wedding day! I just think life is really cool the way it works out!
I met Matt for the first time at their engagement session and he was an absolute sweetheart. When we were in the middle of walking around to find a new spot for photos, a little kid who he didn’t know, just came up to us and gave Matt a big hug! How adorable is that?! See, he’s a sweetheart! Emily and Matt were so cute together and it makes me so happy to see my friend in love with such a great guy (and an awesome pup)!! Their dog, Forty, had me cracking up the whole time with either his tongue or his teeth sticking out of his mouth in every photo. Such a stud! I can’t wait to document their love all over again next July! <3
Also, Forty is rocking a Curly Tail Ties Patriots bow tie!! Check out my friend Erin on Etsy ! With the holidays coming up, a custom bow tie would make the PERFECT gift for your pup! And a BIG THANK YOU to Emily’s Mom for helping take care of Forty every time we just wanted photos of Emily and Matt – couldn’t have captured these moments without your help! Can’t wait to see you at the wedding!!
