Right before Thanksgiving vacation, I had the pleasure of photographing this ADORABLE puppy named Boogie!! Boogie is quite possibly the cutest Sheepadoodle in all of Boston. He was so shy at first, hiding behind his mom’s legs when we met. But a few treats later and we were best friends!
As my season started slowing down in November, I started thinking about doing a shoot just for fun to spark some creativity before the holiday break. I decided I wanted to find a puppy and photograph him in a holiday bowtie that I had from my dear friends over at Curly Tail Ties. So I started searching for a puppy the only way I knew how: Instagram (go follow Boogie right now at @boogie_the_sheepadoodle!). I searched the hashtag #bostonpuppy and scrolled for hours! There are so many cute puppies on there! I reached out to a few puppies via direct message and Boogie’s mom, Christine, was the only one who answered! So this goes to show, check your direct messages because you never know when a dog photographer is going to reach out to you for a free mini session! I was so excited to see her response that she was interested in having Boogie model for me in Beacon Hill for a few holiday themed photos and I was even more excited that she was free on the only day I had available at 3:00pm!! The stars aligned for this shoot and I’m so excited about the images we captured of this adorably fluffy puppy! He looks like a stuffed animal in these photos – I just want to hug him!!
Here are some of my favorite pictures from Boogie’s mini session in one of the most beautiful places in Boston, Beacon Hill! Scroll to see all of his cuteness!
Could you please tell me which breeder you got your beautiful dog from. I live in Massachusetts and this breed will make our family complete!
Thanks!
