HAPPY NATIONAL PUPPY DAY! This blog post couldn’t come at a more perfect time! And it was totally unplanned because I had no idea it was national puppy day today until I saw so many of my favorite pups posted on instagram earlier this morning!

I don’t even have words for this photoshoot! It might be my favorite dog shoot to-date! I met up with my dear friend, Christina, from Tails ‘N Sails a few weeks ago and we started dreaming up big, creative dog projects for this year (with some really fun stuff still to come!) and this was one of them. Christina told me that she was so excited because she was going to play with puppies the following weekend and I asked if I could tag along! I absolutely couldn’t miss an opportunity to play with puppies for an afternoon, so I’m so glad the owner allowed me to come as well! And if Christina and I were going to play with puppies together, we knew we had to do it up! I contacted a florist I had been wanting to work with for a while, Central Square Florist, and she made the most beautiful floral crowns for the babies and the mom! If you ever need some beautiful blooms or flower crowns for your pup, definitely head over there and meet Jackie! Also, follow them on instagram because everyday they choose a name and if you have that name, you can stop into the store and they give you a free rose! We wanted to accessorize the pups even more, so Christina made the cutest little floral scarves for all the girl puppies and one bow tie for the male pup!

My heart is still exploding from all that puppy love last weekend! It literally took everything I had not to leave with one of these puppies! I am so excited about these images and think I just might have to make a calendar black lab and chocolate lab puppy calendar!!
