I met Danielle earlier this year (thanks instagram!) and from the second we met for drinks, we hit it off and I could tell just how passionate this girl is about her business. What is For the Love of Paws and why would you want our service to be a part of your wedding day?

For the Love of Paws is a pet wedding planning service that allows happy couples to incorporate their amazing pets into their wedding. Not only does our service apply to the wedding day, we also provide accommodations for PAW-prosals, engagement photoshoots, and training for whatever task asked of your pet on your special day.

You may be asking yourself, “Why would I need an outside service to help me with my own pet?” Your wedding day will go by so fast and will be FILLED with last minute details and decisions. The last thing that you are going to want to have to worry about is your pet! “But I can have my uncle/dad/grandma/brother be on pet duty for the day.” Yes, you certainly can delegate pet duty to a family or friend; however, they want to enjoy your special day too!

At For the Love of Paws, we take care of absolutely everything so you don’t have to. We provide all of our clients with a complimentary meet and greet at least 4-6 months prior to your wedding date. This is a time for us to get to know each other as well as your wedding expectations for your PAWfect fur baby.

We offer complimentary chauffeur service to AND from the wedding venue if you are choosing to keep your pet at home. We also happily take care of all grooming needs a week before the wedding date. This can mean grooming your pet ourselves or setting up an appointment with your preferred groomer as well as pick-up and drop-off from their appointment.

Now for the big details! As mentioned before, we offer everything from coordinating proposals to engagement/pre-wedding photo-shoots to wedding day needs. Listed below is a full breakdown of all the details within each package.

Proposal Coordinator:

Proposals are HUGE in our book. It is the start of a new chapter in your relationship so the gesture must be grand! As your proposal coordinator, we will help to ensure that your pet is in the right place at exactly the right time. We will pick your pet up and transport them to the location where the PAW-prosal will take place. After happy tears are shed and that magical word “yes” is said, we will be in charge of your fabulous pet to ensure your photographer can get the most purrrfect proposal pictures.

Engagement/Pre-Wedding Photo-shoot:

YOU’RE ENGAGED, YAY!! The question has been asked and you said YAAASSS. You are ready to show your love to the world with amazing engagement/pre-wedding pictures…you also need something fabulous for your save the date cards, am I right? Our pre-wedding photoshoot package is one of our favorites that we offer. We work WITH your photographer; Lauren Dobish is truly one of our favs to get those PAWfect photos. We will pick up your pet if requested and drop them off at your home in order for you to maximize time with your photographer. During the photoshoot, your pet will be with a trained professional the entire time. We will give your pet frequent breaks in order to not overstimulate them and maximize the amount of time we get with your pet. We are in charge of all pet duties, so you only have to focus on looking gorgeous and having FUN!

Wedding Day Needs:

So here it is, your wedding day. There are so many different options that are offered by For the Love of Paws to couples during the wedding day! Below is a broken down list of everything we offer. For all of the packages below, we offer a complimentary chauffeur service, as mentioned before, to and from the wedding venue. If we don’t offer it, ask us about it and we are more than willing to make it work for you!

Ceremony only-

You want your pet to be your flower girl, ring bearer or to simply stand beside your side at the altar; we’ve got that covered. This is for those couples that only want their furry family member to be there for when their vows are exchanged. Before the ceremony starts, we will bring your pet to you while you are getting ready so you can get some lovin’. We will provide training sessions beforehand to ensure that your pet knows where to go and what to do the day of. We also have training sessions with your pet beforehand to ensure he/she knows exactly where to go and what to do on the big day. Once the ceremony concludes, we will bring your pet home and give them tons of love and treats for doing such an amazing job.

Photos only-

The ceremony was PAWfect, everything fell together flawlessly, and now, it is time for some wedding photos!! These are the pictures that are going to last forever, so your pet has to be there, right?! This package is for those couples that know their pets would never last through a ceremony, like one of mine with squirrel ADD, but still want to share that special moment with them. Just like with the pre-wedding photoshoot session, For the Love of Paws is in charge of everything pet. This means making sure your pet is looking at the camera, is fed and watered, has proper potty breaks, has been on a few walks with plenty of play time, and of course been given a crazy amount of love. We want to make sure your pictures are purrfect and pets can make that challenging. That is why will be with your pet every second of your wedding photoshoot making sure it has everything that it needs. Once the photos have been taken, we will bring your pet back to its’ home.

Reception only-

It’s PAWWWTYY time and your pet simply must be there. Some pets just aren’t cut out for the ceremony and photoshoot lifestyle. It is too much command following in a condensed amount of time AND THAT’S OK! The reception is a time for you to celebrate your marriage and your new life together; it only makes sense that your furry family member is there to enjoy it with you! We will bring your pet to your reception venue at the designated time and we will keep your pet there for as long as you would like. We will be in charge of all pet duties and making sure that your pet is not getting over stressed or stimulated. Once your pet is all PAWtied out, we will return them to your home with lots of love and treats.

I Want Them All-

“But what if I want my pet to be in my ceremony and photos?” or “I want them all because my pet is my actual child and I cannot imagine my wedding day without them there!” We offer a combination package that allows you to choose more than one package for a discounted price.

Deciding which is the best option for you and your family can be a tough decision; that is why we offer our free meet and greet! The meet and greet allows for us to discuss what would work best for you and your pet. It allows us to get to know your pet and figure out what would be the best fit for him/her as well as what you want.

What else does For the Love of Paws offer?

As mentioned before, For the Love of Paws offers grooming services. We also will help you find the most PAWfect wedding attire for your pet on your wedding day. We create some of our own flower collars and bowties. We can also find you bowties, collars, leashes, bandanas, suits, etc. if we are not able to provide what you are looking for. We will do all of the research to find tons of options and present them to you for you to choose from.

Prices vary depending on couples needs, wedding venue, location, and pet. We ALWAYS try to do our best to accommodate every couples’ desires. At For the Love of Paws, we believe that pets are family, and they should be included into your wedding in any way possible.
