This engagement session was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend in Maine! Saturday was spent up at my alma mater playing in the annual Bates Alumni Basketball game, where the alumns play the current players. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that the alumni basketball weekend is the highlight of my year! It’s so much fun not only to play but it’s also such a great excuse to see old teammates, parents, players, coaches and professors. Not to mention, a stop at the Goose to top off the night! 🙂
But this year, the weekend was even more special because instead of waking up on Sunday and heading straight back to Boston, I had a beautiful engagement session with Katie and Matt at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Katie is one of my best friend’s older sisters and during my time at Bates, her family has basically been home away from home! I can’t even count on two hands how many times the Flaherty family picked me up from an airport, let me stay at their house around the holidays, or adopted me after basketball or softball games when my parents couldn’t make the trip up from Pennsylvania. Being able to photograph Katie and Matt’s wedding is such an honor and I am so happy for the two of them and their families!
Fort Williams was such a beautiful location for an engagement session and I absolutely love the pictures we captured! How cute are these two together?! And not to mention, Lemon! Also, big thanks to my trusty assistants pictured in the bottom, Kelsey and Annie! 🙂
