Whoever said rain on your wedding day was a bad thing couldn’t be more wrong! I am absolutely obsessed with every rainy image in this entire gallery! We might’ve needed a back-up to the back-up plan to help pull this wedding day off, but that’s why you plan for extra hours in your timeline! This Vermont wedding will definitely go down as one of my all-time favorite weddings. It was such incredible day filled with so much love, amazing speeches, epic dance moves, and lots of shuttle rides! 

The fact that my two friends, Tina and David, are married is a pinch-me kind of a moment! I went to college with these two soccer star love birds and can still remember the day that Tina and David became a thing! Senior year was around the same time I starting having thoughts that I might want to be a photographer because while everyone else knew what they wanted to do post-graduation, I had no idea but I kept finding myself looking at wedding photography blogs in all my free time. Now flash forward 6 years, my dream career IS my full-time career and Tina and David are MARRIED!!

Tina and David’s Vermont wedding was held at two amazing locations: Jay Peak Resort and Sheady Acres. Both locations had the most beautiful views and not to mention, the cutest tiny homes (that Paul and I got to stay in!). Even with the torrential downpours and all the back-up plans we had to utilize, Tina and David were never stressed for a second! We decided to do their first look in the rain and I’m so glad they did because it was such a beautiful moment! Their photos are definitely my all-time favorite first look photos! Tina and David’s ceremony was moved inside the barn but the rain stopped right before their ceremony started and the sun came out for the rest of the day! Their reception was filled with wood-fire pizza, four of the best speeches I’ve ever heard, and of course, some of the most epic dancing I’ve ever seen on a wedding floor, which is no surprise when Tina is the bride! Tina might be the only bride ever whose dress broke at least 6 times (I lost count!!) because she was breaking it down on the dance floor!
