I don’t shoot senior portrait sessions that often, but every time I do, I love it! Maggie is an upcoming senior at South Portland High School and I had the pleasure of photographing her sister’s senior portraits last year too! Katie’s session as at Higgins Beach and Maggie’s session was at Castle Island and M Street Beach. This summer flew by so I was so excited that we were able to fit in Maggie’s senior portraits before the school year started. Maggie and her family made the trip down to Boston and I’m so glad they did because her shoot was such a blast!

We had a gorgeous summer evening for Maggie’s senior portraits. Castle Island wasn’t that crowded which was a really nice surprise. Having just shot Kelsey and Jon’s engagement session there a few weeks ago, I knew a few spots that I really loved and wanted to take Maggie to! Especially the stone platform near the water. 

After Castle Island, we drove just a few minutes down the road to M Street Beach. M Street Beach is my other favorite location in Southie! It’s such a beautiful beach and is never crowded. It has a beautiful view with lots of boats in the water and some tall grass that look great for portraits. I had such a hard time choosing just my favorites from this session so there are quite a few in this blog post. It has been so much fun photographing senior portraits for both Maggie and Katie and now I’m just waiting for the youngest of the sisters to be a senior so we can do this all over again! Only have to wait like eight more years!
