Is anyone else out there obsessed with Bernese Mountain dogs or is it just me?! I got to meet the CUTEST Bernese Mountain dog named Penny a few weeks ago and I wanted to take her home with me. She was so sweet, lovable, and spunky! Just look at her ears and tongue – literally so cute. It was so much fun capturing her adorable personality while she’s so little because she’s definitely going to get so much bigger!!

I had my girl Danielle from For the Love of Paws helping me out at this session. I always recommend Danielle to every dog client because she is helpful for so many reasons. Not only is she a professional and knows exactly how to treat your dog and make sure they are taken care of throughout your session, but also she is so patient, hard working, and willing to do whatever it takes to get your pup to pose perfectly while you can just focus on you! She will take away all of your dog stresses and help make all your photo dreams come true! Literally can’t recommend her enough! So whenever photographing a puppy, I strongly suggest bringing Danielle along (or at the very least a friend who can help manage your pup). 

Danielle worked wonders with Penny and even went for a little run with her during our session so that Penny could get out some of her energy! Penny’s photoshoot was at the JFK Library Harborwalk and it was so much fun exploring a new location that I’ve never been to. We had a really windy day for this session, but Penny and her owners were champs about it. The Harborwalk had an awesome view of Boston and a really nice walkway for us to explore by the water. I will definitely be suggesting this location to future clients, especially for those looking for more isolated locations. We only passed a few people so if anyone has a really distracted pup, this is a great option. Scroll to see some of my favs of this adorable pup!
