This is such a special blog post that I am so excited to share with all of you! My BEAUTIFUL cousin is engaged to the absolute sweetest guy and I got to photograph their love on a beautiful Fall morning in Rochester, NY. This Fall engagement session now holds the record for most photos ever taken at an engagement session, so naturally, this is my longest engagement session blog post ever. I am so excited that we got this Fall engagement session done in time while there was still so much beautiful foliage left. The colors at Durand Eastman Park were so gorgeous. I happened to be in town for our other cousin’s wedding so we decided that was the perfect time for their engagement session. We were supposed to meet up Friday afternoon when I got into town, but it was 30 degrees with 30 mile an hour winds, so we rescheduled to Saturday sunrise and I’m so happy that we did. It was a bit chilly, but Alex and Derek were such champs braving through those temps for 2 hours. And of course, so was their dog Stella! Stella is one of the newest members of the LDP Dog Pack and the only member originally from NY! 

I absolutely cannot wait for Alex and Derek’s wedding next September! It’s going to be such a beautiful day and I can’t wait for us to do this all over again! Big shout out to Paul and my Aunt Corinne for being the best dog assistants and leaf throwers a girl could ask for. They made all of my “throwing leaves in the air” dreams come true!
