I am so excited because it’s FINALLY springtime! The flowers are blooming, the temperature is in the 80’s today, and I’ve put all my winter clothes away with no intention of getting them back out again! Spring also means that it’s time to get out my camera, so there are lots of weddings, families, and dog sessions happening over the next few weeks that I can’t wait to share with you all, but first up, is this incredible couple, Erin and Donny, and their amazing Pug, Wellington. For their engagement session, we had a gorgeous spring day and I had so much fun walking around the Boston Public Garden with these three! We also made our way over to the Arlington T-Stop, which is where Erin and Donny first met! We took some beautiful, traffic stopping pictures in the middle of the street and also, can we talk about how awesome Erin’s hot pink shoes are?! Can’t wait to photograph those babies again on your wedding day, Erin! And don’t even get me started on Welly in his bowties that matched Erin and Donny perfectly!
I first met Erin and Donny a little over two years ago when I was just starting my wedding and dog photography business. I wanted to try and make friends in the dog world in Boston, so I starting stalking all social media platforms for insta-famous dogs and dog businesses. One day, I found the CUTEST business that made bow ties for dogs and it was called Curly Tail Ties! I knew I had to meet whoever made these adorable bow ties, so with a moment of bravery, I sent them a message. As I’m sure you’ve guessed at this point, Erin, the beautiful bride in all these engagement photos, is the owner of CTT and she is one of my favorite people! Two years ago, Erin responded to my message with so much excitement about the idea of a collaboration and I am forever grateful for how supportive she’s been of me and my dream career since day 1! I met up with Erin and Donny for a branding photoshoot in Beacon Hill and we used her pup, Welly, as the model to show off all her beautiful bow ties! It was a rainy afternoon, but Erin, Donny, and Welly were such troopers and those are still some of my favorite dog pictures to date! If you haven’t seen them before, click here to check them out! I am so grateful for that photoshoot because that’s the day my friendship with Erin and Donny began! And now, two years later, I couldn’t be happier for my two friends who are going to spend the rest of their lives together!
Erin and Donny, I am so thrilled for you and I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to capture your love! I’m so excited to celebrate you two as the new Mr. and Mrs. Reagan at the end of May!
