This is such a special blog post because it features one of my very best friends who just recently got ENGAGED!! And I had the honor of taking her engagement photos!! Nothing makes my heart happier than being able to capture my best friends in love! It was such a blast walking all around the Public Garden taking pictures of these two lovebirds. The Public Garden is in full bloom right now and just absolutely BEAUTIFUL in every direction you look! Kristen, better known as Finn, and I have been best friends since our freshman year at Bates College, where we played softball and basketball together. Finn is one of my absolute favorite people and I am so happy that she’s found the love of her life. Being able to capture such a special time in their relationship was such a joy!

All day leading up to their engagement session, Kristen and I were texting trying to decide whether or not we should go through with their shoot or if we should reschedule for another day. The sun was shining all day, but the forecast was calling for rain only from 6-8pm, which was the exact timing of when we wanted to shoot their engagement session in the Public Garden. We decided to meet a little earlier to try to fit in the session before the rain. I’m so glad we did because we just barely beat the rain! We finished their session right as the winds were coming, which you’ll see if you scroll all the way to the bottom for one of my favorite middle of the street shots ever! These two were so cute together and I have so many new favorite photos that I can’t wait to continue sharing for the next year!

I am beyond excited for these two and I can’t wait to celebrate them next March!! Love you guys!
