It’s my dream every winter to be able to photograph sessions during a snowfall or immediately after a fresh snow and this year, my dream came true with this snowy engagement session!! Ryann and I were emailing back and forth last month regarding her engagement session and we were both keeping our fingers crossed for snow. So when the day came for their session and it snowed over a foot that morning, WE WERE SO HAPPY! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, so we immediately changed locations from the Seaport to Breakheart Reservation. I’m so happy Ryann asked to do that because it was a wintry wonderland! The snow was fresh and beautiful and looked so gorgeous in the photos. We hiked all around Breakheart and even though there was a path cleared on the trail for us, we did quite a bit of trail shoveling ourselves. We didn’t quite anticipate the workout we’d get in trying to hike through a foot of snow, but it was definitely worth it for the photos!
I had such a fun afternoon with these two and I’m already counting down the days until November when they get married just so that we can hang out again. In the meantime, here are some of my favorites from their snowy engagement session last week!
