Is it September 21st yet?! I have been counting down the days for this wedding since the second Kelsey and Jon hired me! Sometimes I just know right away that a couple is a perfect match for working with me and these two are one of those couples. I feel like we’ve been friends forever even though I’ve only known them for a little over a year. Now we’re just a month and a week away from their big day and I can’t wait, especially because I just received their gorgeous invitation in the mail too. But first, I am so excited to share their sunrise Medal of Honor Park and Castle Island engagement session from a few weeks ago!
Sunrise is just the most perfect time of day for photoshoots, especially at locations that can typically be really crowded like Castle Island. If anyone is interested in a Castle Island engagement session, sunrise is definitely the best time of day! We had the whole place to ourselves and explored all around. Kelsey and Jon have the most perfect chocolate labrador retriever named Parker who really stole the show in every photo he’s in. He’s the best boy and you definitely need to scroll to see just how cute he is. But also, can we talk about Kelsey’s gorgeous dress?! I was so obsessed with the color and the movement, so I had to have her twirl quite a few times 🙂
After Castle Island, we went over to Medal of Honor Park where Kelsey and Jon take their pup Parker all the time. We set up a cute little picnic, popped some champagne (it’s never too early for a glass of champ), and spent the rest of our morning at the cutest park in Southie. It was so hard to choose my favorites from this Medal of Honor Park and Castle Island engagement session. I already can’t wait to do this all over again in just a few weeks! And I’m so excited to work with my girl Kelsey of Back Bay Bride. She’s the BEST and is also our wedding planner for next year! Can’t wait to see you in September Kels!
