The beach ceremony option? I mean… It’s Cape Cod. Saying your vows with the ocean behind you and the breeze moving your veil is hard to beat. The light here in late afternoon is unreal: soft, glowy, and perfectly coastal without feeling harsh.

The Lawn
The front lawn of the property is a gorgeous spot for an outdoor ceremony. With the gorgeous hydrangeas and water as your backdrop, it will feel like the perfect combination of nature and beach vibes.
The Dune Room is one of the indoor wedding reception venue options for your Wychmere Beach Club wedding. The all-white room and the floor-to-ceiling windows make this space feel right out of a magazine and the perfect blank slate for any wedding style. The views (and the sunsets) are incredible from this space, and having access to the rooftop terrace for your cocktail hour? A game-changer!
The Harbor Room is so timeless. Every corner of this indoor venue space is gorgeous, with its white wall and exposed wood beams plus its gorgeous natural light combo. The long space with dance floor right in the middle is one of my favs!
The views from the Ocean Room are top-tier. If you want a wedding reception that overlooks the ocean, gets gorgeous golden hour light, and feels extremely easy to put your own spin on, this is the one! It’s filled with understated luxury, and if that’s the wedding vibe you’re dreaming of, you’ll love it just as much as I do.

While Wychmere holds weddings year-round (and they’re beautiful in every season), Cape Cod summers just have something special about them. The days are long, the light is stunning, and the coastal feel fits so well!

2:45 pm: Bridal party and family photos
4:00 pm: Ceremony on the beach
4:30 pm: Cocktail hour
5:30 pm: Reception grand entrance and special dances

This timeline works especially well at Wychmere because the beach light around 4:00 pm in summer is soft enough for ceremony photos without squinting, and sunset portraits around 8:00 pm give you that golden, romantic glow overlooking the water.

Bailey and Andrew’s Summer Wedding
Bailey and Andrew’s Wychmere Beach Club wedding felt like a vibrant celebration of their love for each other. They said their vows in the sand surrounded by all their loved ones including their pup, Oaty, sitting right beside them. They released white doves on their first kiss, had a plane fly overhead during their cocktail hour, and had the best flower petal toss at the end of their ceremony that I’ve ever seen! Their reception in the Dune Room was filled with laughter, coastal florals, and the kind of energy that makes you not want the night to end. This was such a special celebration to have been a part of!
