These Valentine’s Day mini sessions just might be my favorite shoot to date. Every detail was so cute and the whole event was such a blast! Plus, it was planned and executed in just about two weeks! One of my main goals this year was to find more ways to give back to the Boston dog community through my business. I had this last minute idea to put together a styled mini session shoot just for dogs. I shared the idea with my girl Danielle from For the Love of Paws and she was so excited. We reached out to a few other vendors who were also excited about the idea, and the event ended up being a big success!

These mini sessions were a fundraiser for Baypath Humane Society, a local dog rescue in Hopkinton. Each session was 10 minutes long, for dogs only, and the cost was $175 plus one donation item of any kind (dog food, blankets, toys, etc). Even though the mini sessions were announced with such short notice for people to plan around, we had a full day of sessions, and raised $850. Not to mention, there were some incredibly generous donations for Baypath Humae Society! Two adorable adoptable puppies from Baypath even made a guest appearance at the very beginning of the day. We used them to test out our setup and I must say, they were pretty good models in our beautifully styled Valentine’s Day backdrop. Both puppies were adopted later that weekend!

Shoots like this remind me what an amazing community the wedding industry is. Everyone is so collaborative and supportive of one another’s businesses. I am always so grateful anytime I get the chance to work together with some of those amazing people on something fun and creative! I’m just so impressed with all of the vendors who helped make these Valentine’s Day mini sessions at Warehouse XI such a blast and I am already counting down until next year’s mini sessions with this crew!
