This beautifully styled in-home Boston newborn session was truly picture perfect. When I first walked into Lauren and Carl’s home, my jaw dropped. It was decorated so well and was a true photographer’s dream for taking newborn photos. I wish I could rent their home out for future sessions if I’m being honest! You never know what someone’s home is going to look like for newborn photos and their house was absolutely perfect.

Newborn sessions have quickly become one of my favorite things to photograph, especially because it gives me an excuse to be able to see my previous clients again. I first worked with Lauren and Carl years ago for a Fall mini session. We took photos of them and their mini Bernedoodle, Rocky, at Larz Anderson Park. So when they reached out for a maternity and newborn session, I was so excited to see them again! Their maternity session was at the Arnold Arboretum when the lilacs were in peak bloom! You can view that session here. And now flash forward a little over two months later, and now we’re photographing Sophia’s in-home Boston newborn session. 

Lauren and Carl’s living room received the most perfect natural light so we started their session there. I couldn’t resist the beautiful window and bench! Rocky made a few celebrity appearances in some family photos and he definitely stole the show a few times even though he’s not the only child anymore. We ended their newborn session up in Sophia’s GORGEOUS nursery. I am truly obsessed with every detail in there! I have so many favorites from this session and it was hard to narrow it down!
